Health-based Message Passing the .NET 3.0 Framework
Enhanced Identity Management using Windows Cardspace
Host-based Intrusion Detection System using Anomaly Detection
Fraud Detection using Anomaly Detection Techniques
Analysis and Evaluation of the Windows Event Log for Forensic Purposes

Capture of Cisco Device Context for Network Emulation.
Automated Network Discovery with Intelligent Fault Diagnostics
An Agent-based, Verifiable Event Logging System for e-Forensics.
Generic Firewall Rule Compiler and Modeller.

The research group has an excellent record of achievement for these projects:

2006: One 1st class, One Upper 2:1 [Award winner of Best Software Engineering Project in Scotland]
2005: One 1st class.
2004
: Two 1st class, One Upper 2:1 [Three papers published, Award Winner of Best Software Engineering Project in Scotland]
2003: One 1st class, Three Upper 2:1
